The new interface looks good and shows a lot of promise, but I am experiencing problems with writing posts.

The smilies and buttons (bold, italic, code, link and quote) don't work on my FireFox browser (2.0.0.1) and IE (6; I don't know if version 7 is working or not). Pressing any of these don't do anything. For it to work, I actually have to type them in manually.

I noticed that the status bar in IE6, does display error the tiny exclamation mark in yellow triangle (next to the Done message), which usually indicate error in the code. Pressing on any button or smilie will display "Error on page".

Does anyone else have this problem?

Oh yeah. I'm here for the same reason! Both ff and ie. Same problems.

Oops, missing a javascript file should work now and notice how much more clever the scripting is, like detecting where to put spaces, and allowing highlight-and-format and inserting the smilies at the cursor position instead of appending..

Hmm, using special chars like these add a weird char in front of it: »»»»»

And when you click edit it has added the char too, probably something to do with utf-8.
