i just changed my signature and noticed that if you don't realize you have to enter your password, or enter the wrong one, the 'Update profile' button changes to 'Register' after you click it. both cases are on the preferences.php page. i'm not sure if there would be a problem clicking the register button, so i just went back to through from the home page again so that it would say 'Update profile' again.
