HI all.
I've been a Python programmer for a while. Doing all the "toy" projects I could think of like doing math stuff (primes etc), file functions like a filesplitter and even some string stuff, like ripping all links from a HTML page.
I recently got involved in Network Programming but I automatically decided that I needed to learn C cause there are no Python+Newtorking tutorials out there.
Anyway I'd really appreciate it if anyone could direct me to or even write a Python and Networking tutorial.

I've found socket programming primers and documentation that cover the C language (not Python).
I've visited the Python.org site and so many other sites.
I've read the docs in the python distribution I have and tried to use the socket interface in Python, but I wasn't really able to understand cause I haven't found any lower level texts or docs to bring me up to speed

Did you have any _actual_ source of info where I could have found python networking help or were you just giving a totally vague non-specific (and blindingly obvious) statement about the web?

btw, do you know a networking tutorial for c++? i'd need something that would let me go to web sites and extract some specific strings from them.
