x86 vms port

Is there a vms port for x86??? I really want vms, but i have no idea where im gonna get a VAX...any1 know where i could get like a VAXstation 4000 or somethin?

looks like it's available only on vax, alpha, or itanium. no idea where you could get one of those though, sorry.

i'm not sure if this will help you any, but you can get a free vms account--see roddefig's post in the linux/unix forum for more info.

you can get it from hp at their openvms page, or at least find out how to get it, i would assume. also i think itanium is 64-bit, so not exactly x86 (won't run on anything that's not itanium)
