A few years back my step brother gave me a box that said "OS/2 Warp" on it. He had gotten it from some of his relative that have won it from somewhere. None of them knew what to do with it so it finaly ended up in my arms. I've heard of OS/2 before and knew that it was, well, an operating system. But that was pretty much it. I did open the package an take a quick look at all the discs and books but never did more.
Now, when moving out, I found the same box again and I started wondering something. What the heck is this OS/2 exactly and is it any good? Anywhere?
Balance.
Maybe it CAN be found.

OS/2 Warp is the OS by IBM. It now is owned by IBM, but was mainly developed in cooperation with Microsoft (OS/2 v 3 = Windows NT v 3). In essence, IBM and their need for an OS made Microsoft rich... The rest is history...

i've got a box of os/2 warp connect (version 3) from a technical college since they didn't want it anymore. i played around with it a little and i think it's supposed to be able to run windows 3.x programs natively--i think i ran an old version of ms office in it. i should dig out an old 486 and put it on there again just for kicks
my mind is like a steel trap! it only hangs on to the big stuff. visit my forums at track7.org
