I've got a radio show starting in September, so I've made a site for it. Except for the "First Songs on an Album" page all of the content pretty functional. That page has fake content.

So rip it apart.

i think it looks very good but here are some things i like as well as some suggestions since that's why you posted anyway, right?

1. i'm glad to see that it fits to the size of the browser window! lots of sites are too wide for an 800x600 browser window (yours fits just fine), while many others look like a narrow strip on the left side or down the middle in a 1600x1200 browser window (yours fits whatever size the browser is)

2. i'm generally against animations on web pages (they usually remind me of annoying ads), but i think yours is actually useful. you might consider slowing it down a little though to make it less of a distraction -- especially the "waffles radio...heard only on...winr" part.

3. i would make the link for listening to the stream more prominent -- maybe a "listen" link with home/shows/about/contact.

4. the "coming up next" and "previous shows" sections in the upper right could be set off a little more by either using a different background color or adding a border. not sure if that would actually look better, but i'd try it out.

5. i don't really like the right-justified bulleted list (previous shows). try keeping the whole list over on the right but left justify the items in the list.

6. i think there's only one image on the page -- it might help to have a couple more, though i'm not sure what they should be if you did.

Thanks for sticking through the long period of messing up-ness. Now, concerning that site score.

I'm not concerned too much about the marketing. The links that do exist to it are on the MySpace and Last FM accounts I have set up to go with it. Plus, it's for a college radio show. I plan on advertising while I'm at school. At this point, web links aren't that important to me and I don't think they ever will be. They'd be nice though, I will admit that.

Design is meant to be simple and I pulled that off. It shows. The satisfying ranking is a bit low right now, but I don't have content either so I'm very happy with that score.

I'm at school for a few weeks at least before the big advertising push begins, and one of my friends is a manager at the station. I can go get some pictures in there.

Page titles, that was just stupid of me.

Will they come over and arrest me for my site being illegal in Britain? I'm going to fix them anyway though.

Links will jump as the number of shows increases. I might also link to other sites that our DJs have. If you have any other ideas to things I can link to please let me know 'cuz I can't think of any.

As for your design ideas, they come at a good time. I'll be gone for 3 weeks and won't be able to see it much, if at all. I'll consider them when I get back.

About changed to a FAQ that answers a lot more.

Do It Yourself with songs that I didn't play.

On/Off air indicators for the station and the show that change at the right time al by themself.

Links. Working on more but the format is there.

I'm trying to decide how I can do news. I'd like to find a stream that isn't stupid gossip. At least something that tells what albums are being released.

And for some other good news, if you take out the marketing portion of the silktide score, I have a 9.3. Which is fine with me becuase I've just started to get the marketing part going.
