Skin Changeable or not?

Do you think it is a good idea to have a site in which people can change the layout of the site? What I mean is that you make like 10 skins and then visitors choose one for their default.
So... How is life?

I don't know about 10 (seems like a lot to me) but it's always good to think of the visitor.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

i think 5 is probably the most i'd want to do, but actually i've been thinking of making a couple different styles that people with real browsers (read: not internet explorer) will be able to select from.

But you did not answer my question, do you think it is a good idea? I have some problems with the other admins in my site, some say no some say yes. And the problem is that I've made like 2 so far and the code and all of them took a really long time, and now after I finished them and I am ready to upload it, they say no!

if people don't want to change it, they can just ignore the feature, so if you want to take the time to add it that's great for the people who use it and makes no difference to the people who don't.

if you already coded it and it works, then DEFINITELY put it in! the others shouldn't have any complaints unless it messes up something else or if they have to write it . . .

And you know what else? I ACTUALLY made the whole site so far! They may have just made some pages, but I made the codes, I made the layout, and I told them how the codes work. And now see what they are doing! :-o

First of all, I cannt, because we share the account. Second of all, it is solved, I showed them this topic, I put a little poll on the site, and as it turned out, the visitors liked the idea so now almost everyone accept the idea! Thanks for posting and supporting me misterhaan!
