It's really getting annoying with all the A.C. posting advertising about money making programs and other types of advertising. So why not make a board for that, so that all those crap can go there?

what would be the point though? thats extra effort to keep spam, why not just delete it in the same effort?

it's the same effort to move a topic or to delete it. i think if we move them though then people can go look in the spams and scams forum to see if their topic got moved there rather than have it just disappear and they won't know what happened to it. of course that depends on people actually looking there, which isn't likely to happen. okay, i change my vote to let's delete 'em.

By making a forum people will feel they are allowed to post that crap - they are not it also means we have that listed on google under our name, which we don't want. I think deleting spam & scams is still the best solution.

on top of just being listed under google, they get this sites pagerank... another reason to delete em.

I think he he is talking about a bot trap. a thread where users are told not to post. then if there is a post made there you know it came from a bot. then you could disable that account to stop posts to other threads.
