i wana knw frm all belivers abt the evidence they have abt the cretionism
as physica law states that" MATTER CAN NOT BE CREATED OR DESTROYED"
THN how u belives that there iz a creater of matter....eplain ur answer with strong cosmological evidences

Hi Raza101,

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe you could start the ball rolling by explaining to us what you understand of the Big Bang story of creation and where we can expect to end up, according to it.

If not, then maybe you could make up your own story, pretend you're explaining it to children, and start with "Once upon a time", etc.

I want you to repeat that in English.

arizona my case is very simple i wana explain that thiz universe iz not created by sum type of suoernatural power ..thiz universe is sum 2000000 billion years old according to cosmological evidences and the stories abt god are only few billion year old..and according to physical law no one can create or destroy matter:d..
and suppose if u belive in creationism u ll be at infinity b/c have to serce for creater of evry creater .....
for instence suppose there is supernatural power who is perfact being ..thn.. how can a perfact creater create imperfact creations..like handi cap people..??
the answer for that question is evolution is blind and anything can cum into existence wheter a complete human or handi cap people..a geneiouse like einstine ..or a warrior like hittler..thaz the simplest explanation

You should read Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons". It's a good read, as well as having antimatter at the centre of its plot. Modern physics asserts that if you mix matter with antimatter you get an explosion and then NOTHING. Similarly, matter and antimatter can spontaneously burst out of nothing. That's how the universe started.

I'm not defending the creationist story here, just trying to clarify what story you're telling. If you're following modern physics here, then you should follow it faithfully and not invent things along the way ... like your statement above.

First of, if you are referring to Judaeo-Christian religion, the earth is not a few billion years old, rather it is only a mere 5700 years old. Geologists and scientists believed the earth is around 4.6 billions years old; our solar system could be older than this.

Secondly as to the universe, it's not "2000000 billion years old". Astronomers' and the scientists' best and latest estimate so far is 13-14 billions years old. The measure is the result of radio signals which they have managed to capture from the furtherest reach of our universe with the current devices (so far).

That's only the measure we have now, but the universe could still be vaster than this current estimate. I don't know where got this silly "2000000 billion years old" figure.

As Arizona said, try to keep up with current science, instead of exaggerating all this, please.

Dreams are stories, but my life is just one bad dream. :P

Hypothesizes, if anything.

It is? According to whom?

hay @arizona
if v mix matter with antimatter v had a blast and nothing
i donno wat sence u really wana prove as my argument is just abt generally accepted physical law
can u plz give the the liknk for the browns article
thiz totallay illogical hypothesis that matter can be destroyed by matter ..as a matter of facts both r matter im other sence synonyms.

@ ryan
man i guess u dont have the latest cosmological evidences abt the life of universe so far scienctist hav evidences for 2000000 billions years it can be much older

raza101,
You might like to look at the wikipedia article on Antimatter, which contains a link to the Dan Brown novel. Also, the article on Annihilation.

Since energy is conserved in a matter-antimatter encounter, you could say that it's not a true annihilation.

Did I mention that I really hate parsnips?

It is true that the early bird gets the worm, however, it is the second mouse that gets the cheese.
