I was just wondering how many of you people have those CueCat scanny things. I have one and it's kinda kewl. I modified it so it comes out in actual numbers, not Digital Convergence gibber. Post your opinions on CueCats here.

from radio shack? i have one that's been sitting in a drawer since shortly after they started giving those things away.

so you're saying you are using yours to read barcodes? that would be interesting!

themaximus: Yeah whats this cue cat thingy? From what I get from your post they are something that prints out those strange random "barcode-like" things that are like a mottled blotch of dots that can actually be scanned like barcodes. (I've seen that sort of thing on fruit packadges in Singapore)
Or am I completely mistaken.
