Hi,

I'm new to using the above together. I know that I can use Server Explorer to access a Microsoft Access Database but not able to connect to SQL server in the same network on a different pc.

I have added the server (PC) to the "Servers" in the server explorer window and obviously it is giving me a lot of other options including SQL Servers. Double clicking on SQL server should let me in but it brings up SQL server Login window. Using the domain username and password is of no help. Keeps coming up with an error "Login failed for user 'ameet'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server Connection."

On the "SQL server Login window" if I check a little box saying "use windows NT Integrated Security" I have the following error: "Login failed for user 'domain name\Ameet".

Obviously I know there is an authentication issue. But don't know how to rectify this. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ameet
