my name is vijay and working as developer for "pixelbyte lab pvt ltd",chennai.v have projects in php and mysql.now the problem is ,ias per cmpy request i have to develop a news managment system or content management.i have started the work but nw in a half way.tht is iam struglg nw in between tht.so i need ur help.can u pls tell met how to access files randomly from text files.here iam usung textfiles are bakend.wht i did is i have created a log in form and only auhtorised users hve the permision to login and do the updations.so any authorised user logs in thn it has to directly go and disply his corrresponding news.

but i dnt know how to randomly access the files from there.expecting ur help

maybe you get better awnser if you put your request in the php section
is a place to start for reading file
