Install Bootloader

I recently installed Slackware and I love it, but durring the installation of LILO, I selected it to go onto the MBR but then I got an error and had to continue with the installation. Now, I can boot Linux with the bootdisk I made, but it is pretty annoying and slow. I need help on installing a new bootloader.

First I had installed Windows XP. Then I added a new hdd for Linux and installed slackware but got an error at the lilo install point.

Some interesting information: /etc/lilo.conf does not exsist; /usr/doc/lilo-22.5.9/QuickInst tells me it can't find lilo and to start where lilo exists

Hard drive configuration:
IDE1: Master- CDRW, Slave- 6GB Linux hdd
IDE2: Master- 40GB Windows hdd (not mounted in linux), Slave- 80GB NTFS (mounted in both)

Please and Thank You,
bennettmk

Download the LILO slackware package here.
Run installpkg lilo-22.5.9-i486-2.tgz -- then try installing lilo to the MBR.

A guy gets on a bus and starts threatening everybody: "I'll integrate you! I'll differentiate you!!!" So everybody gets scared and runs away. Only one person stays. The guy comes up to him and says: "Aren't you scared, I'll integrate you, I'll differentiate you!!!" And the other guy says: "No, I am not scared, I am e to the power of x."
