did you honestly expect a review of your design in less than 20 minutes?
i think what you need most is less placeholders and more actual content. - it says copyright 2005, but it's currently 2007. if this site had been around since 2005 and you're updating it now, this should say 2005 - 2007. if this is a new site, it should just say 2007. - the use or red text and dotted-underlined first letters is confusing and looks like you didn't expect it to look that way. also, the class name "red" isn't a good idea because what if you want to update the design and change it to be green? then class="red" would actually make text green... - the arrows pointing to the right next to the links in the horizontal bar under the header make it look more like breadcrumb navigation than simply links to the other pages of the site. - you could do something to set the left sidebar off from the rest of the page -- maybe a line between the two sections, a different background color, or both. - if you have to explain how to use your navigation, that's a strong indication of poor ui design. also, i tried pressing alt+L for link and it didn't even work. i'd get rid of that altogether. - having the same links across the top and down the side is overkill. if the website is going to be going to be big enough to split in to sections, try using the top for sections and the side for other pages in the section. otherwise choose either the top or the side and get rid of the other.
my mind is like a steel trap! it only hangs on to the big stuff. visit my forums at track7.org
