Micro$oft offers an AntiSpyware proggy on their site now
Funny, since they are probably the biggest data-miner out there... A typical case of the pot calling the kettle black.. If you somehow are interested, you can get the beta here

Hey there daonlyfreez.
I'm always interested in what Microsux is doing about their many many security issues. LOLOL ---Published: January 6, 2005. Minimum system requirements for Windows AntiSpyware (Beta): Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. A 300 MHz or faster processor with at least 64 MB of RAM. Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003. At least 10 MB of available free space on your hard disk. Internet access with at least a 28.8 Kbps connection to use SpyNet. (TM Microsux) *chuckle* -aw shucks, -looks like I cannot use this beautie new "service". Alt+F4 will just have to serve me furthur, with ad-aware & spybot minders. _B_
Beware the Big Koala. It originated the recursive malapropism when it found itself supernumerary to a specific task and commented, "I think I'm erroneous here". -which it wasn't until it said so, but then it was, -so it wasn't. It also once won a staring contest, with a stuffed cat.

It's actually a bought product. They bought Giant's anti-spyware software, and that one would run on Win 98, this one doesn't...
but it sucks anyway, so who cares...

There must be some Folks "out there" who're even sillier than I am. P.S. -it figures that Bill Gates has ordered his worker-ants to disable Win98 compatability. Fokker.

Microsoft is just copying the ideas of other companies again...
The spyware scanner was not Microsoft's innovation. There wouldn't be a problem with spyware in the first place if it weren't for Micro$oft's crappy and dumpy operating system: Windoze.
A guy gets on a bus and starts threatening everybody: "I'll integrate you! I'll differentiate you!!!" So everybody gets scared and runs away. Only one person stays. The guy comes up to him and says: "Aren't you scared, I'll integrate you, I'll differentiate you!!!" And the other guy says: "No, I am not scared, I am e to the power of x."

True. Very true Jordan. Are they claiming that it was, now? JordanAF2003 writes... There wouldn't be a problem with spyware in the first place if it weren't for Micro$oft's crappy and dumpy operating system: Windoze.
Their various versions of the infamous browser "Internet Exploiter" have aroused my ire on numerous occasions. This seems to be the main security hole in anyone's Microsux system. The clunky, dumpy, OS, -err, I can live with. (seeing I paid good money for my OEM number and I'm always doing reinstalls and "playing with the adjustments".) Their bloody weak-assed excuse for a browser however, -hhmmm. Forget it. Mozilla or Firefox is my preferred option. If everybody used either of those, I suspect that a LOT of Pee Cee repair shops would close their doors. _B_
