Just installed photoshop here at work for working on some graphics.

Amazing product... anyone recomment a good tutorial website? online training? onsite traing?

hi there paboo,
there are lots of great photoshop tutorials out there lingering somewhere in the vast internet....just need to search it up (they often like hiding from you i can tell you now)
here are a few sites that i've personally found useful

http://www.arraich.com/ps_intro.htm - this is a tutorial that teaches very very basic stuff. very much for ppl new to photoshop

http://www.planetphotoshop.com/tutorials.html - i like this one, quite a range of selection to chose from

http://teamphotoshop.com/photoshop/tutorials/ps_tut_techniques.php - another good one...lots of nifty tricks you can learn here

http://www.lombergar.com/v4/ - is good and bad...good that the tutorials are actual video clips..so you can see whats happening...bad in that you have to download it (takes quite some time)

there are plenty of other tutorials out there...but start with a few first, and then when you feel like making a particular image/effect - search it up

Just made a sweet button bar using the tool...

Took a bit of time to setup the frames just right, but rendered the individual graphics in no time at all!

I'm going to have to say that the best site out there for Photoshop tutorials is Good Tutorials. At the moment, the have 5284 tutorials, and at least one is added every hour. Their tutorials range from text effects to design. I have used them in the past, and they help ALOT.

Sorry if I'm bringing up an old topic, but I don't think it's that old! Only a month or two.

the best way to learn the Photoshop I think is to discover by yourself all the tricks that does the photoshop for you. That's my way to learn it, but it is good to follow the tutorials. Not everytime is that you really want to do with photoshop, with ALL that stuff out there, you can put at your mind, your imagination do to something creative no matter what is it, in the end you can feel the satisfaction of your work.
