video card

My video card is not good enough for NFS UG, is there anything that i can download to make my video card compatible for the NFS UG?? The game runs very slow on my system and so does cricket 2004 and many other games.
My video card is s3 graphics pro savage ddr. and also plz tell me the site to download. I have Pent IV ,1.7hz, 256 mb ram.

you probably need to buy a new video card--i doubt it's as easy as a software upgrade . . .

Yep. misterhaan's advice is good insofar as a software upgrade is, at best, only a "bandaid solution", and at worst -a waste of time and effort.

I'm no gaming expert but I'd be looking at an AGP slot, late-model card with at least 125 Meg on it, and I'd be running at least 750 Meg of RAM on my system too.
(it's SO cheap now-days)

I dont have an AGP slot and Im trying to find the best PCI video card out there. any suggestions.
