I connect to the internet through a wirless network card on my laptop. I am constantly having prblems with getting a good signal from the router which is on the other side of my house. I can't move th router so does anyone have any sudgestions on how I can boost the signal?
I may not always be right, but I am never wrong.

buy some pringles
or a can of soup i think you'll need a way to connect an external antenna to your wireless card though

the wirless pcmcia card that i have can't take an external antenna, so you might not be able to. if it has one of those antannas on it you could take that off and connect your pringles can instead . . .

I hope to get an extension antenna soon, but what software are you talking about?

DO not connect an antenna unless certified. It voids the warranty (most cases) and violates FCC regulations. Buy a signal booster and hook it up to the wireless ap.
A guy gets on a bus and starts threatening everybody: "I'll integrate you! I'll differentiate you!!!" So everybody gets scared and runs away. Only one person stays. The guy comes up to him and says: "Aren't you scared, I'll integrate you, I'll differentiate you!!!" And the other guy says: "No, I am not scared, I am e to the power of x."
