Yes, they DO accept. The terms and condition is, that you MUST only link it TO your pages at geocities, means you must visit his site with the images, and then go directly to it, it will work. Just as a test, the link is to one of my class website menus.:

http://geocities.com/skps_p6faith/images/leftbar.gif
And, i suppose thats something to do with the images that the browser caches.

BTW, they don't load from those links. I think geocities doesn't accept to show just gifs.

Oops, your right...I could have sworn i checked to see if they worked a few times after uploading them and once before posting this.

Unfortunately it'll take me a while to get them on another server that does let you show gif's :[

Allwell, i'll let you know when i get them up.

I'm pretty sure my email provider (or maybe my email client?) filters every attachment sent through my email

I can try anyway though, just dont be surprised if you see "Attachment was removed for security reasons" or something familiar. :[

Thanks to Patriot for the coloured bubbles. The orange one is now being used for this sticky topic, when a new post is added.

As long as it's different I'm happy. And since it's close to yellow I'll pretend that someone listened to what I suggested earlier.

No need to pretend. We went for the yellowy bubble as you suggested. Also, it follows the logic: blue bubble, add yellow, becomes green bubble; red bubble, add yellow, becomes orange bubble.

Liz, the bubbles use soft colours and I guess you could call it tan or a light orange-brown. Is it a cat you're looking for cheap?

I created the bubbles before arizona even posted her suggestion to create a different color, so i didnt see the post waffles made about the colors, but it makes a lot of sense

Liz, if your looking for a cheap monitor, try ebay.com, if you looking for a cheap cat then i might be able to sneak my annoying cat out of the house and sell you it

i'd be happy to give you a crt, but it's probably not worth the shipping price to send it to you!
there's probably a half dozen monitors lined up in my mom's basement . . . most of which i won't use (i've got 3 monitors in my apartment and that's plenty for me). the only problem with them is that they're all old and won't go above 640x480.

you can't have one of my cats though

lol
id love a cat, but we cant have one here ..my housemate doesnt like pets. i might sneak one in on her anyway..like we did with the dogs :P give it to the kids as a present, and she wont say no

the bubble is brown to me..so its not my monitor after all.
mine wont go above 800x600..but it will do for now.

I have tons of monitors, mostly 15 inches, Dell, Compaq, etc. I even have a monochrome monitor around here somewhere, but I'd never give that away. Shipping would probably be hefty, but less than if you had to add the price of buying the monitor off of ebay, and I guarantee these work (I have like 5 monitors scattered around my house).

This thread has gone a bit off topic from it's original topic: Plargarism. I'm a bit hesitant to lock it, as it's a sticky, but I'm pretty sure that if it needs to be unlocked, Arizona, Terminal or Jester can unlock it. Locked.
