i was given a copy of dvd x copy platinum by a friend. when i loaded it onto my computer it was asking for a license id and password. is there anyone out there who has a license id and password that i can use. if not, are there any suggestions where i might be able to get one.

Go and buy a license.

Or do you think only fools buy their software?
BTW-the ripper versions license numbers are different to the non ripper versions so even if you try to outsmart the system you can not.

Your friend is not much good if he could not even get you a working version.
Why be another wanker?
Buy your own.

Beware the Big Koala. It originated the recursive malapropism when it found itself supernumerary to a specific task and commented, "I think I'm erroneous here". -which it wasn't until it said so, but then it was, -so it wasn't. It also once won a staring contest, with a stuffed cat.
